Smarty is all about versatility and adaptability. When it comes to adding new items—whether it's tasks, events, scheduling links, or notes—we provide multiple avenues tailored to your workflow. Here's how you can effortlessly create in Smarty:

1. Command Line ⌨️

For those who favor a keyboard-centric approach:

• Activate the command line using "C"

• Start typing your item details. For instance: "Coffee @Alex @3 pm tomorrow".

• Smarty's intelligent processing will recognize and classify your item.

2. + Create Side Panel 📌

A detailed panel for a comprehensive creation process:

• Click on the '+' icon located in the left navigation bar, right below your user avatar.

• This opens the 'Create' side panel.

• You can use the command line in the side panel as well.

• Or choose the type of item you wish to create: task, event, scheduling link, or note with "/"

• Fill in the necessary details and save.

3. Date Header in Column View 📆

When you're in the flow of planning:

• Hover over the desired date header in the column view.

• A '+' button will appear.

• Click on it to swiftly add an item specific to that date.

4. Calendar View Options 🗓️

Visualize and slot in:

a. Using the + Button:

• Located at the bottom right of the calendar view.

• Click on it to bring up the 'Create' modal.

• Add your details and save.

b. Drag and Drop:

• Click and drag over your desired time slot in the calendar.

• Release to open a quick add modal.

• Perfect for blocking out specific times for events or tasks.
