Mutual Availability
Scheduling meetings without the endless back-and-forth is easier with Smarty. When using our scheduling links, you can effortlessly display mutual availability, making the booking process seamless for all parties involved.
How to Display Mutual Availability:
Add an External Calendar:
On the Smarty platform, add the external calendar you wish to cross-reference.
You can add external calendars from the Calendar side panel, opened when clicking on the calendar icon the top right of the calendar view
Or you can use the @ command on the command line to add contacts when generating scheduling links
Or you can explicitly add contacts under the contacts input on the scheduling links side panel
Note: Make sure you have access to this external calendar. Smarty respects privacy and can only display information from calendars you have permission to view.
Use Smarty Scheduling Links:
Whether you're sharing slots or using personal links, Smarty supports showing mutual availability.
Once added, Smarty will automatically sync and cross-reference the availability from the external calendar with yours. Shared links will display time slots that are mutually free, eliminating any chance of double-booking.
By integrating external calendars, Smarty provides a holistic view of your commitments, ensuring both you and your contacts find the best time to connect without the fuss.
